Yes, rising interest rates have slowed buying activity. But there is still demand, especially for homes with updated finishes, special features or a compelling price.
In the 3rd quarter of this year, July-September, the median home sale price in Hamilton for a detached, single-family home was$1,275,000. That’s down less than 3 percent from the previous summer. Sale prices in the broader Novato market were down 8 percent from the previous summer.
The median sale price for townhomes in Hamilton Park in Q3 was $840,000, which was the same as in summer 2022.
