First Sale of 2023 in Pointe Marin Novato

In January, there was one sale. It was in the Breakers part of the development and it sold in 3 days for $2 million. That was $200,000 above the asking price.

As of today (early February), there is one active listing in Pointe Marin, and there are 2 houses under contract with a buyer.

Buyer demand in Pointe Marin is strong, and things are looking promising for the Novato market as a whole. See a Novato update here.

Home Buyers are Active in Novato

As of this week, HALF of all houses on the market in Novato are in escrow. That’s up from around 30% of all houses in September, October, November and December.

This means more buyers are making offers on houses, and that is very welcome news after the market slowed way down in the second half of last year, as interest rates climbed past 7 percent. Rates have come down since then.
