How are home sales faring in the Presidents neighborhood in Novato?  We looked at sales from the first 3 quarters of 2023 (January-September).

During that period, there were 15 sales, and the median sale price was $1,085,000. That’s down 11 percent from the same period the year before, which included the market peak (spring 2022).

That’s not too bad considering all the pressures on the market. Presidents prices have fared much the same as the Novato market as a whole, which is down 11 percent year over year (Jan-Sept 2022 vs Jan-Sept 2023).

If we take a wider view, and compare prices over the past 3 years, we see the Novato market is up almost 9 percent from the summer of 2020.
