Times have changed folks, and these days you need realtors who not only have a comprehensive knowledge of home values within your geographic footprint, but they need to be experts in staging for both the in-home walk through and particularly for digital marketing (still photographs AND videos are essential now). They need to have the experience to navigate all the legal issues around home sales, and to not only be able to negotiate effectively, but to be able to analyze the quality of buyers' offers and probabilities of closing. And on top of all THAT, you should hope they are pleasant to work with because this is an intense, short-term business partnership and everyone has to work hard if they hope to get the maximum value.
